Additive Manufacturing – the future of manufacturing

CONTRIBUTORS

DESCRIPTION

Additive manufacturing describes technologies that grow three-dimensional objects one layer at a time. Such as in 3D printing, each layer bonds to the preceding layer of melted or partially melted material until the required shape is formed. It can be used across a range of different substances, including metal powder, thermoplastics, ceramics, composites, glass and even edibles.
