Calling all Start-ups and Students

The “Billion Ruble Pitch Session” is organised by the Digital Economy Development Fund in cooperation with the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit, the International Fund for Technology and Investment and in accordance with international standards of pitch sessions.

The general partner of the “Billion Ruble Pitch Session” is the National Engineering Corporation. The pitch session will be the result of the international selection of the best industrial innovation start-ups that meet the goals specified by shortlisting jury, comprised of international stakeholders, and aligned with the departmental project of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, “Digital Industry”. The main mission of the “Billion Ruble Pitch Session” is to create a platform for accelerated growth, investment attraction and scaling to new world market industrial development projects.

The main criteria for successful project selection are big data; neuroetechnology and artificial intelligence; distributed registry systems; quantum technologies; new production technologies; industrial internet; components of robotics and sensorics; wireless technology; virtual and augmented reality technology.

According to the format of the pitch session, start-ups are given four minutes for the presentation and two minutes for jury questions, including representatives of state corporations and some of the largest companies in the industrial sector. Selected Russian investment funds, as well as a delegation of international investors will take part in the pitch session. According to the results of the pitch session, investors are able to make investment decisions, with as much as one billion rubles being distributed at similar recent events.
